About Us
The Seizure & Brain Injury Centre is a not for profit community based organization and member of the Canadian Epilepsy Alliance, Epilepsy Ontario and the Ontario Brain Injury Association. We are committed to promoting independence and optimal quality of life for individuals living with epilepsy and/or acquired brain injury and their families, through support, advocacy and public education. Our values are: Collaborate, Awareness, Respect, and Empowerment.
The Centre serves the Cochrane and Temiskaming District.
We offer a variety of programs and services: Awareness and advocacy; community partnerships; education and information sessions; peer support and mentoring; social and recreational activities and support groups.
