Help Us Support Those Living With Epilepsy

About This Campaign

Targa Newfoundland RaceWith a $25 donation, your name will be painted on the Epilepsy Awareness Rally Car which will be seen by thousands around the world during the Targa Newfoundland Race. From Sept. 14 to 19 the Epilepsy Awareness Car will be driving/racing some 2000+ KM across Newfoundland.

All donations will go directly to Epilepsy Ontario and will go toward providing awareness, support services, advocacy, education and research. (Donation/Tax receipts will be provided – Our Charity Reg #: 11890 0844 RR0001)

These donations will help us provide much needed resources to families and individuals living with Epilepsy. Many people living with Epilepsy feel isolated and stigmatized, but Epilepsy Ontario works to combat that stigma and works toward improving the lives of people living with epilepsy.

The Race:

Now in its thirteenth year, The Targa Newfoundland is the only race of its kind in North America, boasting a 2,000 Kilometer course across The Rock and featuring unparalleled scenery and challenge. A grueling week-long adventure through the paved open roads of Eastern Newfoundland and the many wonders of its natural beauty. Speeds so fast there’s barely time to soak in the smell of the salt water or the up-close and personal views of the Atlantic Ocean on the shoreline. The event will be taking place September 14 – 19, 2014.

The Car:

A race prepared 1999 Honda Civic with a unique Acura engine and transmission. This car is very fast and very demanding to drive, yet unconditionally rewarding. It was a winner at the 2012 Empire State Performance Rally in New York.
