When planning an event take some time to research what types of events are currently being planned. Check the Epilepsy Ontario website and try to steer away from events that are too similar to existing ones. Be creative and focus on the current trends to develop a unique and attractive event.Things to Consider

• Do you need insurance? Or a special permit/ license ( liquor /raffle)
• Can you get sponsors to cover the costs of the event?
• Is your event wheelchair accessible?
• How will you collect/ account for funds raised?

Remember fundraising is meant to be FUN
Get a team together, put your heads together and remember your efforts are greatly appreciated!
