This internationally award-winning seminar covers everything you need to know about epilepsy. You will learn what epilepsy is, how it is diagnosed, and the very latest treatment advancements. You will learn ways to control difficult seizures and the latest research on future treatments. S.E.E. provides hard to find practical approaches to handle the emotional and social impacts of epilepsy.

No seizures and no side effects! That is the goal of treatment in epilepsy. S.E.E. will provide you with the skills and understanding you need to reach for this goal. Dr. Mittan teaches that while not everyone can be seizure free, there is a lot more YOU can do to improve your seizure control.

Seizure control is only part of the battle. You want to get your life back! This program shows you how to do it. Get rid of the fears seizures cause. Get control over your feelings. Learn how to help others undertand your epilepsy. Discover how to help your child with epilepsy succeed in school and in life.

About the Presenter
Dr Robert J. Mittan, PhD, is a clinical neuropsychologist. He is the world's leading epilepsy educator. Dr Mittan has been recognized by the International Bureau for Epilepsy and the International League Against Epilepsy for his outstanding contributions to the world wide struggle against epilepsy. Dr Mittan developed the S.E.E. Program as part of the UCLA Comprensive Epilepsy Program 23 years ago. Since then he has kept S.E.E. state-of-the-art and presented this life-changing program to over 30,000 people in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Who Should Attend
Everyone! This educational program will be particularly helpful to people living with epilepsy, their families and especially parents of children with epilepsy, health care professionals, community agency and group home staff, teachers, day care providers, and anyone interested in learning more about epilepsy.

While the program is easy enough for a sixth grader to understand (yes, children are invited), the program is so comprehensive and up-to-date that it has been approved for nursing and physician education around the United States.
