Phenobarbital Update
People concerned by the rumours about phenobarbital becoming no longer available in Canada need not worry.
One manufacturer of phenobarbital, Parke-Davis, has decided to discontinue making the barbiturate.
It will continue to be manufactured in Canada by the Drug Trading Company Limited (Markham, Ontario, which makes Certified brand products) and by Stanley Pharmaceuticals Limited (Vancouver, British Columbia).
