History

In 1976, Epilepsy Ontario Midwest Region was formed in London, Ontario. Based on the expanding need for services in Huron County, a chapter was formed in 1982 with a director and office in Clinton, Ontario. Services were expanded to include Perth and Bruce counties and in November 1990 Epilepsy Ontario, Huron-Perth-Bruce received its charter.

The activities of this largely rural chapter are guided by a medical advisor and a Board of Directors representing a variety of skills and geographical areas.

Epilepsy Huron-Perth-Bruce is funded by the United Way campaigns
of both Huron, Perth, and Bruce counties and The Ontario Trillium Foundation.
