GLAD DAYS for Epilepsy
Once again this August, hundreds of gladioli were sold most of the Epilepsy Chapter's throughout Ontario to raise awareness of epilepsy and of the programs and services available for people living with epilepsy and their families.
Each year, during the month of August, volunteers sell gladioli (familiarly called glads), the flower symbol that represents epilepsy to help raise awareness and funds to support local programs. The goal of the Glad Days Campaign is to bring renewed hope to all the children and adults living with epilepsy that one day we will find a cure.
Congratulations to all the Epilepsy Chapters that participated this year on a very successful year! Over $50,000 was raised for epilepsy programs and services.
On behalf of the participating Chapters, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Pharma Plus Drug Marts, Carlton Cards and to all the people and companies that contributed to making this year's Glad Days campaign a success!
