Epilepsy Doesn't Keep You Out of the Game
Over 500 people helped to prove this by attending a special group event on 25 September at SkyDome in Toronto. It was an opportunity to hear Dr. Burnham singing our national anthems, to see the Epilepsy Ontario Trillium presentations, to watch Don (Rocky) Belvedere make the opening pitch and to cheer the Toronto Blue Jays on to win over the Baltimore Orioles. It was quite extraordinary to see the Epilepsy logo flashing on the JumboTron throughout the evening. It was wonderful to see so many chapters helping to make the event so special. Thanks to Thom Appleby (Epilepsy Peterborough) who videotaped the event and to Joy Cantle-Jones (Epilepsy Ontario) who envisioned and co-ordinated the event.
